I look forward to applying the 20 years of experience I've gained as Linfield College's Webmaster to support your organization. I am something of an old-school generalist with a skill set that crosses lines between IT and Marketing. Prior to joining Linfield, I worked for 12 years doing theatrical properties for companies including Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Utah Shakespeare Festival, and the Santa Fe Opera. Theatre gave me my goal orientation, my capacity to work collaboratively as part of a team, a gift for problem solving and picking up skills as needed. I am skilled in Customer Service, Technical Support, End User Training, Process Documentation, Web Image Optimizing, and Web Copy Writing. I also maintain the college's multiple web content management systems, building site templates and the CSS to support them. The applications continuously open on my desktop are Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Word, Excel, Sequel Pro, and Terminal. I also keep a separate workstation running with NVDA to test accessibility.I have written several articles for the Linfield Alumni Magazine on internet security and web accessibility. I'm a firm believer in the Oxford comma and I am capable of building my own office furniture.
