Influential in providing seamless transition of service from previous contract to new contractor. Planning and organizing personnel and resources to meet manning levels at all locations. Ensure all aspects of the contract Statement of Work (SOW) are adhered to, constantly maintaining and ensuring all locations meet contractual obligations. Carry out site visits with both internal and external audits. Shared responsibility for recruiting suitably qualified staff from across Europe and North America.Given A/Manager responsibilities whilst Manager is on leave. Ensure the department operates at all times within the scope of the contract, and to submit to external auditing procedures to verify. Attend weekly management/director meetings providing updates on key issues within the department.

Management of a 43 member team of security officers conducting entry control, security verification and ID production operations for a major NATO installation. Responsible for the training, administration and welfare, including all HR aspects i.e. managing departmental leave and maintaining appropriate personnel files. The position required the oversee of staffing and scheduling for all locations within Pass Control contract. Locations include Entry Control Point (ECP) 3, ECP4, ECP5, SWAP Office and the Pass Control Office (PPO). All sites are visited daily to monitor operations and assist with problem resolution when required. Due to our theatre of operation, there are significant dealings with all ranks of the Military, specifically the KAF Security Office and Security Badging Office, and also Civilian personnel. This includes requests for sensitive information from outside agencies i.e. Counter Intelligence, MP/IMP. Maintain constant dialogue with KAFSO (KAF Security Officer) on all issues pertaining to security of KAF. Provide guidance for outside agencies (ISAF, Non ISAF, contractors) on all issues pertaining to SOP379 – KAF Access Policy. Undertakes Managers duties during his absence on leave rotations (30 days duration 3 times per year).Acting as POC for all badging enquiries from outside agencies, daily operational issues, dealing with Sponsoring Agency, NATO Support Agency (NSPA), and liaising with chain of command when appropriate. Production of in-depth statistics for analysis at governmental level.Implementing and advising on KAF Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) when required, often at short notice. Production of company SOP’s and training manuals to ensure staff remains current at all times.
