At Evisort, I was the Head of Security. I led all things security, compliance, privacy, and IT. I've built a growing, technically driven security organization to ensure the security and privacy of client data while improving operational efficiency. Significant responsibilities included:- Managed compliance and risk across the company, including maintaining SOC2 Type 2 certification and attaining ISO 27001 and 27701 certifications.- Built the Application Security program, including a modern SSDLC comprised of automated scanning and manual review techniques. Working closely with Product, Engineering, and QA to to ensure security at design, implementation, and deployment time- Worked closely with DevOps on cloud security, monitoring, and DevSecOps initiatives, ensuring our ability to grow and scale our infrastructure safely quickly- Ensured the ability to detect potential incidents quickly and respond to them effectively- Managed corporate security and IT operations- Envangelized security across the company to create a culture of security as everyone's responsibility. Providing training and systems to enable employees to operate securely while maintaining the ability to iterate quickly- Worked with our sales and customer success organizations to ensure our systems meet the highest security expectations of our enterprise clients
