Systems Manager
CurrentSYSTEMS MANAGER under the INFORMATION SYSTEMS GROUP- Manage company’s critical IT plans to include back-up and disaster recovery, business continuity and emergency response- Measure application, operating system and hardware performance and make recommendations on correcting bottlenecks in systems performance- Define specifications for new servers, workstations, application requirements or any other IT-related requirements - Manage company’s IT ISO procedures and guidelines and ensure adherence to software licensing laws- Supervise, plan, assign and review work of the information systems staff; set job standards and evaluate job performance; provide technical assistance and guidance- Responsible in the Asset Management and IT equipment deployment plan- Maintain and administer the company network including Windows and Exchange servers and ensure 24 x 7 system availability- Ensure efficient system backup and security of proprietary files and information- Carry out cost-effectiveness and return on investment analyses for proposed systems to provide guidance and assistance to the management in making decisions- Meet with decision makers and end users to define, formulate and document business requirements and systems objectives, and identify and resolve business systems concerns- Conduct research and prepare evaluation on hardware and software requirements of the company to justify recommendations and to support purchasing activities.- Provide orientation and training, on-call consulting, advice and technical support to various users regarding specific operational/applications concerns for all modified and new systems- Prepare and proposed annual plan and budget for Information Systems requirementsSystems Manager (Jan2010-Present), Systems Officer (Jul2009 - Dec2009), Systems Supervisor (Jan2008-Jul2009), Systems Administrator II(Oct2003-Dec2007), Systems Administrator I(Jul2003-Oct2003)
