In 2017, while starting the non-profit Jericho Road Renewal, I became a real estate agent. Working with men and women in poverty who needed affordable housing and support while they started a new chapter, it made sense to develop my real estate understanding and experience. Also, because funding was limited as the new ministry gained momentum, working in real estate helped the sustainability of the new project, because I did not need as much of a salary. So as a part-time ministry director, part-time realtor, and even part-time contractor, I found a balance that could allow me to pursue a passion and provide at the same time. Now after five years, I work in all areas of residential real estate with special interest in helping investors in the process of acquiring, renovating, rent, and managing properties.
