I spent 13 years in the catering and hospitality industry as a chef. However, I decided I wanted to utilise my skillset and interests in IT. Two years ago, I started studying a course at the Code institute, alongside my full time job in catering. In July, I was successful in my application for the apprenticeship scheme at Mediacom, which involved an intensive selection day. I'm currently still working at Mediacom in London as a Data and Tech intern, after my internship has been extended for a further three months.I'm very much enjoying my role and I'm looking to continue within IT.
