As the Commercial Product Director, my responsibilities are managing all aspects of the WAVcam family of products at ISA. My responsibilities includes hands on management of marketing and sales strategies, product roadmap, R &D, Software Development, Product Manufacturing, and Field Service.

When i assumed the role of Director of Infrastructure and Information Technology, my responsibilities were to manage the the IT team and design, develop, and manage the modernization of the Company IT Infrastructure to meet security requirements levied on our company IT ans IS networks.During my tenure as Director, I negotiated a new business rates for our ISP, deploy fault tolerance and resilience in our core information system to reduce employee downtime due to system failure.

As the project Engineer and Lead System Architect, i designed and lead the execution of a near real-time processing system combining data from multiple, diverse sources to generate actionable intelligence for theater commanders in a tactical environment.

Designed and devloped software applications to process and visualize streaming video.

As the lead research and development engineer, it was my job to survey the needs of the customers of the VPSX product line and develop innovative solutions using VPSX as the core of the solution. These solutions ranged from automated printer management through the development of print portals to the development of a Thin client printer management system integrated with CITRIX XenDesktop and XenApp.

As a Systems Engineer for LRS, I support the Sales team in analyzing technical issues that arise during the course of a sales cycle. This support can range from assisting in customer install and proof of concept to development of custom solutions related to the LRS suite of products. in developing these solutions, i utilize my past experience with software techniques and vendor API's as well as new software concepts in the Microsoft development space using Visual C++ and Visual C#.

As a System Architect for Caprock Systems, I performed requirements development and system design related to customer provided requirements in the area of Signals Intelligence and information processing and distribution. This role typically dealt with our software products from initial design through delivery to our customer and field sale off activities.Being a startup company, i also performed duties as an application developer. Software products consisted of Unix based systems running Ubuntu and Redhat Enterprise with application development performed in C/C++, Java, and Nokia Qt.

As a Systems Engineer for L-3 communication, I performed requirements development and analysis for aircraft and ground processing systems. Systems Engineers at L-3/MID track with a project from its initial bid to delivery to our Gov't customer. In this process, I was responsible for maintaining budgetary accountability of my hours and those of my team, resolving technical issues internally and externally to my projects, and providing status to Program management as well as external customers about the current state and any issues with my projects. In addition to my project tasks, it was my responsibility to confer and technically direct software teams developing applications for my projects. After development, i also performed the duties of testing, either individually for my susystem or at a higher level, the software projects that were assigned to me.In a dual role as a system architect, I designed database models using ontological techniques and designed a multi node distributed system deployed throughout the world for processing near real time data. As a co-contractor with other entities, it was my responsibility to understand what software components developed by L-3 would require interaction with the co-contractor software and design the interfaces and communication paths at a high level.As a Lead Engineer for the same project, it was my responsibility to coordinate, review and approve all System Requirements Review (SRR), Preliminary Design Review(PDR), and Critical Design Review (CDR) materials for any involved systems and software teams. It was also my responsibility, similar to other projects, to status the internal and external program management offices as well as the external customers and co-contractors with technical status and issues. in dealing with issues, it was my responsibility to idenitfy issues and develop or help develop recovery action plans to prevent, contain or mitigate the loss of time or budget associated to each issue.

As a Software Engineer, I performed development in Unix based systems specifically in Graphical User Interface. My responsibilties included researching and implementing vendor API's for vendor or Gov't provided software and hardware systems. Most of these systems were related to external voice and data communication between National and Tactical networks.In addition to communication systems, my software responsibilities included developing web based user interfaces for Oracle, MySQL, and Sybase databases. On these projects, i lead a small team ranging from junior to senior software engineers. It was my responsibility to manage the technical direction as well as budget allocation and estimation of completion. As a software engineer, it was my responsibility to support test activities related to my software projects through delivery and deployment.
