Each position has come with its own challenges, some with multiple buildings and up to 160 acre campuses. The most challenging position was taking care of a 100K square foot building that supports aquatic life and a variety of mammals and birds, Colorado’s Ocean Journey.The most exciting aspect of facilities management today is the use of technology, from fully-automated building control systems to CMMS programs. These programs have allowed me to run buildings much more efficiently, reliably and profitably.
