About Jonathan Rigby

Born in Lancashire, raised in Germany, and educated back in the UK only to begin a career that went East to Hong Kong and West to New York. From research to brand planning, comms strategy to customer engagement, a WPP Fellowship ensured I stayed a curious sponge early on. I cut my teeth for many years at the Ogilv-ersity, helping clients like American Express, British Airways and UPS make their brands more valuable to their consumers and vice versa. Today I've found a home at Initiative, turning my attention to the wonderful world of media and the underappreciated superpowers it can bestow on brands, applying all the principles of customer engagement thinking to help brands build fame and accelerate their customer flow. When not plugged into a laptop you'll find me outside in the real world far from marketing's influence (or so I like to think).
