I am currently working as a Consultant for Allana Buick & Bers on the Forensic team. My responsibilities include on site observations, testing and reporting, and project documentation. I also work with ABB Testing to provide on site testing and observations for new construction projects in relation to waterproofing design and install. I was a Senior Specialist in the ES & F division for Lerch Bates. Performing testing and project coordination for various new construction projects based on ASTM and AAMA standards.I was previously employed at Tesla/SolarCity as an Engineer I (E1) on the Energy Systems Structural Team, and prior to that as a PV Designer for the same company. In my role as an E1 my tasks were to inspect surveyed homes and to run calculations for proposed PV systems based on the site conditions and existing structure according to ASCE 7 loading and IBC/IEBC codes. Additional tasks were to check the structure for existing damage and to proscribe remedies such as avoiding overly damaged areas, upgrading damaged or failing members, adding new structural supports. Before moving to Tesla/SolarCity I completed a two year contract through Adecco Staffing on the Google StreetView project. My role there was to manage a small team of Operation Leads overseeing driving operations in North and Central America. I led team meetings, analyzed metrics, oversaw goal creation and benchmarks, and reported relevant information to the Program Manager for their weekly meetings with upper management. Prior to that assignment with Google, I worked part time as a Para Educator working one on one with a wonderful child with special needs. It ranks as one of the most rewarding and difficult experiences in my life.Specialties: I have strong skills in the use of AutoCAD for structural plans as well as details. I am proficient in the use of RISA2D/3D and have prior experience using ETABS for structural analysis. I am practiced in design utilizing current codes such as the IBC, ACI 318, MSJC, ASCE 7, NDS, and the AISC Steel Construction Manual.I graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with a major in Architectural Engineering in 2010.
