At Sungrid Solutions, I advanced from Foreman to Project Lead and Site Superintendent, overseeing grid-scale battery energy storage projects. My role involved managing multiple construction sites simultaneously, ensuring safe operations, quality control, and efficient team coordination.I led the installation of North America’s largest battery energy storage system for the Yukon project, featuring 16 x 1.2 megawatt units and a 35kV gantry switch, delivering 40 megawatts of daily power for YEC. This project, which set a benchmark in Canada for battery energy systems, involved working with EPC energy inverters, Sinexcel BESS units, and LG batteries, showcasing my ability to integrate advanced technologies into large-scale energy solutions.In the Concord Trio BESS Unit Project, I managed the commissioning of the system, specifically on Sungrow inverter systems, across three locations. I conducted safety audits, ensured timely project completion, and forged strong partnerships with electrical contractors, overseeing medium-voltage installations while maintaining stringent safety protocols.Additionally, I supervised the day-to-day activities of teams on site, conducted detailed inspections, and maintained quality control. My proactive problem-solving and strategic planning ensured projects met deadlines and contributed to enhanced grid stability and energy efficiency.

Assumed the role of Project Manager and Team Lead Technician, managing AV projects valued at over $1.2 million. I supervised production planning, scheduling, and ensured compliance with safety standards across diverse sectors, including healthcare, education, and oil & gas.I played a key role in the successful installation of complex AV systems, including the creation of Western Canada’s largest LED video wall. My responsibilities also included coordinating with vendors and account managers to meet project objectives and deliver high-quality results.In addition, I maintained meticulous documentation, handled service calls, and ensured timely completion of all projects, consistently meeting deadlines and enhancing overall project efficiency.

At Vector Electric & Controls, I served as a Foreman and Team Lead, overseeing renovation projects for the Calgary Board of Education and University of Calgary. My role involved managing the installation of critical electrical systems, including transformers, emergency systems, and HVAC units.I ensured the operational reliability and safety of municipal facilities, including wastewater treatment plants and a Siemens HVDC power station. This included conducting rigorous testing and quality control to meet project specifications and industry standards.Additionally, I identified opportunities for enhancing maintenance efficiencies, implementing continuous improvements, and expertly interpreting technical drawings to ensure precise execution, contributing to the overall success and resilience of the infrastructure projects.
