I qualified as MRICS in 2003 and since then have covered a wide range of practice areas.I trained with Dreweatt Neate in Winchester specialising in rural estate management assisting the partner in charge of the office before moving up to take the primary management role on one estate.I moved in 2007 to Brown and Co to develop the 'professional' aspect of my career and have since moved away from rural estate management and have developed a number of specialities, such as telecoms, compulsory purchase and compensation and all forms of valuations. I am also experienced in planning and farm agency.I have had a rural upbringing as a farmer’s son growing up on a small arable unit in north Suffolk. I believe this background affords me the ability to communicate well with members of the farming community.Specialties: Red Book Valuations - lending, capital taxation, acquisitionTelecoms masts - lease negotiationsAgency - purchase and sale of all forms of rural propertyPlanning - AOC's, applications and objectionsCompensation - pipelines, cables and infrastructure failure.
