Project - West Bromwich (Thermal Desorption) Client - MarCity Developments (Jan 2008-August 2008) Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical and pneumatic systems.Responsible for the construction of modular thermal desorption treatment plant via complex tandem crane lifts using a multinational workforce. Design and construction of bespoke heated recycled fuel oil system saving 75% on the largest project cost due the fuel consumption of 15,000 litres every 24 hours (previously diesel operated).Subsequent treatment of 40,000t of tar impacted soils (former Gasworks site). Responsibilities included monitoring plant operations and performance, implementing operation and maintenance schedules, health and safety, treatment of gas emissions to ensure compliance with the EU emissions directive. Berger U.K. Operations was sold and re-branded as Eneotech Environmental (Arcadia group).The team in the Chertsey office remained unaltered by this transition.
