Jonathan Silberberg is an award-winning creative executive with over 20 years experience as a producer, showrunner and executive producer for nonfiction films and series. Jonathan’s varied experience ranges from creative business strategy to hands-on producing of nonfiction features and large-scale shows. As Co-Head of Nonfiction for Concordia Studio, Jonathan built the company alongside Davis Guggenheim from the ground up, helping to define the company ethos, while acting as a creative executive on the nonfiction slate of films and series. Recent credits include: STILL: A MICHAEL J FOX MOVIE directed by Davis Guggenheim; Ahmir ‘Questlove’ Thompson’s 2022 Academy Award, BAFTA and Grammy winning SUMMER OF SOUL (Searchlight Pictures / Onyx Collective and Hulu); Robert Greene’s critically acclaimed PROCESSION (Netflix); Emelie Mahdavian’s BITTERBRUSH, (Magnolia Pictures), and Pete Nick’s HOMEROOM (Hulu). Jonathan also executive produced Garrett Bradley’s Peabody Winning and 2021 Academy Award Nominated TIME (Amazon); Amanda McBaine & Jesse Moss’ 2021 Emmy Winner and Academy Award Shortlisted BOYS STATE (Apple); Ramona Diaz's Peadbody and Emmy winning A THOUSAND CUTS (Frontline); Netflix three part INSIDE BILL'S BRAIN: DECODING BILL GATES, and an anthology of films for the NYTimes OpDocs, titled FROM HERE TO HOME (including Laura Nix's 2020 Academy nominated WALK RUN CHA CHA). Before joining Concordia, Jonathan’s credits include Joe Berlinger and Bruce Sinofsky’s Oscar and Emmy nominated feature film PARADISE LOST 3: PURGATORY for HBO; National Geographic’s hybrid series MARS, in collaboration with Ron Howard and Brian Grazer’s Imagine Entertainment and RadicalMedia; Nat Geo's BREAKTHROUGH, and Sundance Channel’s ICONOCLASTS. Jonathan began his career at the storied documentary company Maysles Films and collaborated for many years with RadicalMedia. Jonathan is a member of the PGA, DGA and WGA.
