After redesigning OETA’s Website and orchestrating the transition to a web-based content management system – including programming and implementing video conversion and television schedule systems from the ground up using open-source software – continued to provide support to site end-users and develop sub-sites as needed. Developed add-on components and modules to extend the functionality of OETA’s existing sites and features such as election results, video integration, twitter feeds and photo galleries, such as a custom donor “crawl” generator for on-air display using PHP and JavaScript.Participated in the PBS Merlin pilot and COVE API pilot programs contributing feedback and best practices for national implementation. Project design lead on all print work produced by the station, including brochures, print advertising, business cards, security badges, informational booklets and brochures, working directly with Public Information Manager to meet Communication Department goals. This work required integrated promotional campaign materials between web, print and on-air, maintaining overall design consistency in presentation including collaboration with many different national and local entities. Redesigned monthly programming guide “Odyssey”, with a distribution to over 25,000 individuals, promoting a simple yet stimulating layout, which could be easily read by our majority of older viewers. Responsible for monthly design and layout of the 16 page guide.
