• Supporting a range of Business Areas across Lloyds Banking Group (LBG) as Subject Matter Expert in all aspects of the regulatory ‘Senior Managers Regime’.
• Interpreting SMR regulatory requirements, and recommending to senior management how they should be applied in relation to LBG.
• Responsible for maintaining and enhancing all aspects of the SMR team risk and control environment, to ensure ongoing regulatory compliance.
• Continually review the evolving external regulatory environment, identifying and progressing refinements / improvements to LBG working practices, while reflecting internal requirements.

• Management and reporting of all aspects of the Group Material Risk Taker (MRT) population, as identified in accordance with Capital Requirements Regulations. (CRR)
• Act as subject matter expert in relation to all aspects of the Group application of CRR and MRT’s, providing guidance and making recommendations to senior management as appropriate.
• Accountability for ensuring all relevant external regulatory reports were submitted in accordance with requirements and timescales, including analysis and challenge, where appropriate, of supporting data, thereby.
• Continually review and seek improvements to related internal processes and procedures, coordinating with colleagues across the wider Group to simplify and enhance existing practices.

• Support the Business Area Head of Reward in the application of Reward policy across the function, with specific accountability for Risk Division.
• Provide specialist Reward partner support, acting as subject matter expert, escalating where appropriate to the Head of Reward.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with function heads, HR Directors and business partners across Risk Division particularly, including writing and critiquing papers for subsequent presentation to senior.
• Maintain and develop thorough understanding of Reward policies and procedures, making recommendations for improvements as appropriate.
