By necessity, solutions were intuitive, robust, and able to support a diverse and international healthcare community. - Investigated, coordinated, and executed urgent fixes in a legacy codebase for rapid delivery to affected organizations. - Assured high code quality and clinical outcomes via detail-oriented design & code reviews for fixes and enhancements. Soterra was a student led club that created a low-cost wearable device to relay alerts and GPS data to first responders in areas without cell service. Using a patented dynamic bluetooth mesh network, the team was awarded a finalist of the 2018 Women’s Safety xPrize competition.As the services team lead, I was responsible for implementing back-end services for handling user and message data, and communicating with devices. Additionally, I developed a front-end console for emergency services to review safety alerts and live location data.
