To ensure the delivery, development and maintenance of a DSA-QAG accredited assessment service for students attending any UK HEI.To support senior colleagues in the delivery of services for disabled students, staff and other stakeholders and enhancing the student experience.To manage the work of Assessment Service staff and oversee the engagement of occasional Needs Assessors in the delivery of the Assessment Service.To provide advice and guidance to the Division, Directorate and University colleagues on issues concerning assessment services for disabled students.To manage the activities and priorities of the Assessment Service team so that the objectives and customer requirements are met.To oversee the Assessment Service development as an Assessment Centre and implement The QAG Framework to maintain The assessment service’s status as a recognised centre.To maintain productive working relationships with the various bodies associated with funding support for disabled students.To maintain an oversight of all assessment venues, to ensure compliance with DSA- QAG requirements.To set budgets for own areas of service delivery, in collaboration with the Head of DASS.To keep abreast of developments in and applications of assistive technology resources.To maintain positive external stakeholder relationships, mindful of the need to maintain and/or grow assessment numbers.To assist in the development and delivery of staff training.
