2019 - Chief EngineerIn my fourth year involved with the Adelaide University Motorsport Team (AUMT), the University of Adelaides Formula SAE (FSAE) team, I have taken on the role of Chief Engineer, where I will lead the engineering team as we develop our electric vehicle concept to get the most out of it at the 2019 FSAE-Australasia Competition. I am also responsible for designing and building the low voltage wiring harness.2018 - Project ManagerIn my third year at AUMT, I took on the role of Project Manager, where as the head of the team I was responsible for overseeing and assisting our team of university students throughout the year as we designed and built the universities first electric race car, which achieved our teams primary goal of scoring all points in the dynamic events at the 2018 Formula SAE Australasia Competition.2017 - Assistant Engineering Manager and Aerodynamics DesignerIn my second year in AUMT I was one of two Assistant Engineering Managers and part of the team to design and manufacture the aerodynamics package. Some of the tasks I carried out were:• Project management for engineering projects.• Assisting with quality control and rules compliance.• Aerodynamic design including CAD modelling of parts, CFD simulations and composites manufacturing.2016 - Team Member and Assistant Project ManagerIn my first year as a member of AUMT I involved myself in a wide range of activities, eventually taking on the role of Assistant Project Manager after 4 months on the team. Some of the tasks I was involved in were:• Part of team to design an electrical gear shifter• Assisting with on-track testing, on-going car maintenance, and manufacture of small parts• Develop WHS policies and procedures, conduct safety audits, develop risk management plans for events• Assist with planning and execution of events.• Assist the engineering and business management teams as required

This involved managing a small team during major events such as sports matches and concerts.
