I joined the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department in August 2008 and attended the 1st CMPD Lateral Academy. I am currently the CRU (Street Crimes) Sergeant in the Steel Creek Division. Some of my other Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police assignments have been: Patrol Sergeant, Sergeant/squad Leader Civil Emergency Unit (CEU), Sergeant/Squad Leader Bikes Field Force, Providence and Eastway Division's Focus Mission Team (FMT). Patrol Officer, Division Executive Protection Detail, Mentor for New Recruits, and Bike Patrol.

I joined the Union County Sheriff's Office in October of 2004 and served as a Patrol Deputy until joining the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department in August 2008. While working with the UCSO I served as Patrol Officer and Lake Park Community Officer.

After joining the Mecklenburg County Sheriff's Office, as a Deputy Sheriff I was assigned to the Intake Center. I also worked as a Court Security Deputy and was an Entry Operator on the S.W.A.T Team for two years. I left the MCSO in October, 2004 to join the Union County Sheriff's Office.

Cornelius, Nc

I took a full time job as a Patrol Officer with the Cornelius Police Department in October 2000. I worked here only a few months when I took a job with the Mecklenburg County Sheriff's Office.

Marion, Nc

After attending B.L.E.T at McDowell Tech in 1998-1999, I worked as a part time Patrol Deputy with the McDowell County Sheriff's Office from December 1999-October 2000.
