I am currently Acting Co-Principal at Yarra Me School. We provide innovative, developmentally and personally attuned, short-term therapeutic education to students. Our students are dual-enrolled (part-time attendance at Yarra Me School, part-time at their mainstream school) and respond to our Team Around the Learner model, where we have deep engagement with the student, their family and carers, and their mainstream school. The success of the students is forged in their experiences at Yarra Me School's trauma-informed classrooms and also by the development of an authentic team of adults who create a shared response and support style with and for the student.
