I am a bilingual (English/Spanish), adaptive mechanical engineering student with experience in computer aided design, computer aided engineering, systems modelling, circuitry, prototyping, robotics, and automotive engineering. I have robotics experience from two years on the Cedarville University ASEE Robotics Team where I worked on design and modelling of robot components and a summer internship with General Atomics Inertial Fusion Technologies Group where I worked to design the physical tooling and software required to integrate a new 6-axis robotic system for precision component manipulation. I am the suspension lead on the Cedarville Grassroots Racing Team, and have gained prototyping experience through manufacturing and testing components for the Grassroots Racing Car and during the internships with SonSet Solutions and Reach Beyond Australia.I am an effective leader with experience in workplace and student organization leadership through officer positions with Tau Beta Pi Engineering Honors Society and MuKappa International Student Organization. I am also the president of the Cedarville Triathlon Team and have been a mentor in a university mentorship program for three years running.I have strong interpersonal skills and am able to connect with people from a wide variety of backgrounds due to having a broad cultural history growing up in Ecuador and Australia with a Texan mother and a father who grew up in Columbia. I am interested in employment with interdisciplinary engineering research and am ready and willing to learn computer languages such as Python and C++ to integrate mechanical and computer systems.
