The ESF Lions Football curriculum allows young players the opportunity to develop their football, competitive and social skills. Enjoyment and fun are the main ingredients of our football sessions, with all coaches working to a programme that relates to the age and ability of the players attending. Players are assessed within their age group and placed in a group suited to their ability, allowing individuals to develop at their own pace.Technical SkillsPlayers are taught basic passing, receiving, turning and ball control skills.Game PlayMastering the ball at their feet and interacting with others to gain experience of playing the game and working as a member of a team.Player PathwayPlayer Development Squad gives an additional coaching session each week and provides opportunities for regular match play as well as the ESF Lions Youth Football AcademyCompetitiveAcademy squads from U11s to U18s, both boys and girls, play in the Hong Kong Junior League, HKFA Henderson Youth League and Citi-bank Soccer Sevens.
