Research Assistant
Current- The Tjian-Darzacq Group @ UC Berkeley utilizes Single Molecule Tracking (SMT) from live cell imaging to study transcription in vivo. I serve as a research assistant for a new technique called proximity-assisted.
- Created a computational toolkit to preprocess and classify images captured from live cells using machine learning algorithms
- Designed an easily navigable interactive dashboard web app to visualize and conduct analysis on large amounts of data using Dash
- Developed kinetic PAPA (kPAPA), a technique to analyze the kinetics of protein interactions in transcription
- Cloned 50+ constructs of 10+ biological test cases and integrated into mammalian cells to obtain dissociation rate constants
- Utilized skills like PCR, gel electrophoresis, ligation, GG and Gibson assembly, tissue culture, and data analysis in Python
