 Project Estimator – Completed costing estimates including that for conceptual/preliminary/detailed project costing, arterial road assessments, permanent area contributions, boundary conditions, watermain cost sharing, and oversizing costing. Formed earthworks management plans, and earthworks estimation based on available geotechnical reports and GPS survey. Designed, drafted, reviewed, and submitted detailed and redline drawing sets. Trained in WaterCad and created/reviewed/submitted water/hydraulic networks for assessment and approval in the Edmonton and St. Albert Areas. Designed storm and sanitary gravity pipe networks including SWMF design and assessment. Completed and requested schedule of quantities, letter of credits, materials request for proposals, servicing agreement requests, and geotechnical requests for proposals for efficient construction start up. Co-ordination of municipalities as well as civil, planning, landscaping, power, and gas departments from the conceptual to the detailed design stage to ensure all drawings are completed on time and submitted accordingly. Formed and tracked forestry, water act, and crossing applications for construction adjacent and over pipelines. Kept detailed tracking sheet to ensure all incoming projects and paperwork was tracked and submitted on time. Co-ordinated with the municipalities to expedite drawing and construction processes.

Redwater, Alberta, Canada

 Operated a compressor to clean pipes with pressurized air on the NWR refinery. Supervised a crew of 3-4 people to ensure the proper execution of air blows. Used P&ID to find blow points in the refinery and to locate valves to ensure no spills occurred during blows. Communicated and guided pipefitters to rig the systems in and out for air blows.

 Spearheaded rectangular rapid flashing beacon (RRFB) pilot project while managing a team of 6 within the CoE Co-ordinated and conducted meetings with the 6 primary contacts from the CoE and Alberta Traffic Supply for the review and acceptance of proposals and reports for the RRFB project. Completed reports and evaluations for the RRFB pilot project including the formation and distribution of non-disclosure agreements between the CoE and other businesses. Completed on-site vehicle timing runs, stop delay surveys, and vehicle volume surveys. Designed and re-evaluated traffic signal placement and timing. Communicated and informed citizens by phone about the status of new signals and issues they had with the transportation situation within Edmonton. Created new road layouts and tested new signals in Synchro.

 Utilized a Trimble Access GPS system for residential and commercial surveying. Supervised and surveyed 3 active residential construction sites on-site for grading, utilities, and services. Co-ordinated grading, utility, and service contractors to ensure all work was completed before allowing the next contractor on site.

 Supervised and primary point of contact for 5 active residential construction sites while coordinating 4 contractors. Surveyed residential and commercial sites, including that for grading, deep and shallow services, and road construction using a Trimble GPS and theodolite. Completed preliminary site engineering design for sanitary and sewer pipe design, lot grading, road grading, and GPS point pulling in AutoCad Civil 3D. Finalized as-builts and red line drawings for client review and CCC applications.
