Led the conceptualization, development, implementation and management of information and processes required for evidence-based, long-term planning of the health care system, including cancer capacity and capital planning.Led the development and ongoing refinement of capacity planning models for various cancer program areas and served as a subject matter expert in these areas providing advice, analysis and modeling for the development of planning frameworks and advanced analytic methodologies.Reviewed cancer-related hospital capital proposals to ensure alignment with CCO strategies and evidence.Managed and allocated the provincial Radiation Treatment Equipment Replacement Grant ($34.5M), which provides funds to ensure radiation treatment equipment in Ontario is kept current and up to date.Supported COVID response and recovery planning, in particular related to the impact on the surgical backlog and other downstream impacts.Co-led capacity planning and health service needs assessments for acute, post-acute and ICU beds to support Ministry of Health's multi-year planDeveloped and implemented a data-informed framework to support a coordinated provincial approach to allocating >$1B in new bedded capacity.Program areas include: Hospital bed capacity planning, Stem Cell Transplants, Positron Emission Tomography Scans, CAR T-cell Therapy, Capital Planning for Radiation Treatment Machines and Systemic Treatment Chairs, Diagnostic Assessment Programs, Interventional Radiology and other program areas as required.
