Duties and Responsibilities: • agreeing project objectives• representing the client's or organisation's interests• providing advice on the management of projects• organising the various professional people working on a project• carrying out risk assessments• making sure that all the aims of the project are met• making sure the quality standards are met• using Microsoft Project to keep track of progress• monitoring sub-contractors to ensure guidelines are maintained• overseeing the accounting, costing and billing• reporting to the client or senior stakeholders on progress• evaluating the success of the project against its bench-marking and sharing lessons or best practice with other organisations or project managers.

Designing and managing refurbishment and construction projects.Survey & design using CAD, applying effective process controls to ensure that Asbestos, CDM regulations, DDA requirements and fire risk assessment requirements are managed effectively.Work within budgetary constraints to offer the customer ‘best fit’ solutions to maximise return on investment, whilst ensuring that all aspects of design and development are value engineered.Produce project plans detailing a programme of works with clearly defined milestones.Ensure orders are signed and payments agreed with the customer.Nominated contractors, place orders for equipment and adhered to competitive tendering and partnering processes.Managing the works, accounting for all final job costs and ensuring post project “sign off”.Liaise with the customer throughout the process from the initial survey stage through to any snagging issues at the end of the project.
