I began at Chloride Harath as an Assistant Generator Technician, working under the supervision & training of a Generator Technician. Upon successful completion of my City & Guilds qualifications in 2000, I was promoted to the role of Generator Technician. Our customer base was varied, ranging from a single set on a farm to a multi set synchronised data centre. On occasions we had to be on call which would often necessitate a swift resolution to complex breakdown situations during unsociable hours.In 2006 I took the opportunity to take the role of quotations engineer as I felt this would further my experience within the company and industry and enable to gain a more rounded knowledge base.
