My practice divides my time between intellectual property, government affairs, and healthcare law. I provide state level lobbying services on behalf of healthcare organizations, energy development, and tech. While my intellectual property practice centers around, developing, maintaining, and monetizing IP portfolios.

When working with St. Luke's in house counsel, I assisted in the work of the Corporate Governance and Transactions, Labor & Employment, Patient Relations, and Payor Relations practice groups. I worked on a variety of projects where I redlined contracts, drafted privacy and cybersecurity protocol suggestions, analyzed tax implications of business plans, reviewed regulatory compliance processes, etc.

As the Editor-in-Chief of the Idaho Law Review, I managed and coordinated the workload of 61 Law Review Editors. I was ultimately responsible for all Law Review operations and publications.

While at Tolman Brizee & Cannon, I worked on a variety of tasks focusing primarily on medical malpractice defense cases. Additionally, I conducted legal research, drafted memoranda, answers, and discovery requests. I also attended depositions, pre-litigation hearings, and client meetings.

For over a year, I had the opportunity to work as a Biomedical Research Intern at the Curl Agricultural Health Lab through Boise State University. While working with the lab, I focused primarily on a longitudinal Randomized Control Trial that aimed to identify whether measurable differences in dietary pesticide exposure could be detected among groups of pregnant women who were blindly provided either organic or conventional produce. I took part in Institutional Review Board approval, subject recruitment, and data registry management, etc. This research led to a co-authorship of a paper titled "Effect of a Longitudinal, Randomized Organic Diet Intervention of 2,4-D, Pyrethroid and Organophosphate Exposures among Pregnant Women."

In my time at St. Luke's I worked on a large variety of projects and tasks. Day-to-day activities typically involved direct patient interaction that would revolve around patient registration, scheduling, and education. Other duties included leading team meetings, coordinating charitable donation as a United Way Campaign Captain, and creating patient statistic reports for physician analysis.

I worked alongside a newly hired adjunct professor and helped in the development of her curriculum for Epidemiology. In addition to this, I was also tasked with the creation of supplemental education materials and would tutor both individuals and groups of students needing additional assistance.
