Thirty seconds of paralysis is all it took to force me into the world of Sport and Performance Psychology. Following a neck injury sustained in a senior year Varsity baseball game, I battled the mental and physical rigors of returning to play competitive baseball again. Overcoming this adversity, there was an invitation to pitch at a competitive Division I school and this is where my passion for working with individuals began.In 2004, I attended the University of Rhode Island to obtain a degree in Kinesiology and Psychology before coming up to Boston to earn a Master’s in Counseling and Sport Psychology from Boston University. The practice specializes in developing executive functioning skills, building “systems” to effectively manage different types of anxiety, performance enhancement in an academic, athletic, and work setting, effective decision-making, and liaison work between other “team” members.
