As an Instructional Designer for the Learning and Development team at West Marine, I design company branded and vendor training for our Crew Members. I collaborate with internal and external partners to identify training needs, develop content, design courses, and create evaluation metrics.-Use learning methodologies based on desired learning objectives to create content, timelines, and other resources to target the intended audience. -Design and create instructional materials that enhance the learning objectives for our Crew Members, such as, videos, quick reference guides, product knowledge job aids, and training guides.-Partner closely with our numerous vendors on several training projects.-Work closely with internal SME's to create new training initiatives or update outdated content.-Review Crew Member feedback and consult with Learning and Development Manager on applying the appropriate course of action.-Collaborate with Store Operations team on new company initiatives and to ensure we launch appropriate training.-Manage the Hot Training Inbox and assist Crew Members with technical issues related to our LMS.-Establish, assess, and track overall effectiveness and value of training to measure ROI with reporting, and by soliciting feedback from our partners to identify issues.-Provide reporting to various departments on training completion across the company.

As an Instructional Design Consultant (IDC) for the Learning Design and Innovation team at FIU Online, I created and managed a portfolio of intellectually engaging, effective, and high-quality online and hybrid courses.
