I use my experience as a federal prosecutor to guide clients through their toughest challenges associated with government investigations and regulatory compliance.I help clients with: -white collar criminal defense, -federal investigations brought under the False Claims Act, and -litigation against the government and whistleblowers. ... with an emphasis on matters within the healthcare industry.Some of my recent successes for my clients include:-Resolving DOJ investigation into a healthcare provider for only common law overpayment, with no False Claims Act liability or multiplier, and no administrative sanction;-CMS reversing a payment suspension against a healthcare provider; and-Advocating for healthcare professional to DOJ, which elected to downgrade client's status to a witness.I also run right-sized internal investigations into issues my clients discover, in order to get ahead of potential enforcement problems and minimize whistleblower risk.I like to write and speak about my focus areas, especially issues in healthcare enforcement under the False Claims Act. And I teach white-collar crime as an adjunct law professor at Mercer University School of Law.
