Working with a team of highly skilled System Administrators and was responsible for a number of high profile systems, and was the IT lead on a number of projects.• Cross Branch upgrade of the hardware and software on the desktop and server platforms across all EBS branches. Existing RHEL servers and Windows XP desktops were replaced by SUSE Linux servers and Windows 7 desktops. Head Office servers were replaced with a SUSE Linux server running on the VMware platform.• Installed and configured IBM WebSphere MQ product on the EBS mainframe in conjunction with the mainframe support teams. Worked directly with the development teams as a WebSphere MQ solutions architect.• Upgraded the EBS document archive repository.• Development and deployment of the EBS Internet site, built using a LAMP server platform. The website was developed using the Joomla CMS. Developed the template for the website written in PHP.• The deployment of a distributed scanning system on the EBS Branch/Head Office network by deploying multi-function printers, combined with scanning and document indexing software.• Maintaining the currency of the external facing SSL certificates for EBS.
