Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin – Cardium / Sparky / Viking / Clearwater Fm• Responsibilities include continuous onsite supervision of all drilling operations (vertical, deviated, horizontal and core). • Operations management – Accountable for communicating effectively with field and office personnel so the project runs effectively and efficiently. • Petrographic sample logging and analysis - Analyze, evaluate and describe formations while drilling using cuttings, oil and gas shows and wireline data to determine lithology and best placement of the well.

Jackfish / Lloydminster / Bonnyville – McMurray / Sparky / Colony/ GP Fm• Responsibilities included interpreting real-time geotechnical data to optimize landings and multilateral well placement for up to 4 rigs at once in a remote command centre. • Working closely with a team of Geoscientists, Engineers and Directional Drillers to submit, approve and execute complicated and detailed well plans.• Delivering current and post-well interpretations in complex areas for a better understanding of the subsurface geology.• Proficient in interpreting a number of vendor tools and services leading to enhanced reservoir understanding and improved efficiencies while drilling. (Halliburton ADR, Baker Hughes Azitrak, Scientific WPR)• Working closely and collaborating with a team of data scientists to quality check, file and store relevant drilling data. • Training and mentoring new Geosteering Geologists.

Clear Hills – North Whitemud River Block / Badheart Ironstone formation• Responsibilities included all onsite core handling and core preparations. • Working closely with of a team of geologists to complete detailed core descriptions, measurements, and geochemical & metallurgical sampling of roughly 7,200’ of core at a remote location. • Implementing and maintaining quality control process that ensured the integrity of the data while following the proper chain of custody.• On-site monitoring & supervision of drill and coring procedures. Determining the top and bottom of core point. • Updating / maintaining a custom database used to store drill prognosis, core descriptions, core log and core sampling log data.

• Responsibilities included generating detailed land maps of upcoming landsales /expiries.• Organizing and maintaining well files. • Database / indexing seismic data. • Gained valuable insight into the collaborative business skill needed for the oil industry.• Developed a broad yet detailed knowledge of intricate workings of a geologist in small oil company.
