I worked hand in hand with the Lowe's national account.As an $800,000,000 account last year, there is constant movement within the office and I played a big part in helping organize, coordinate and filter data numbers that they needed to track their sales.My main goal and my focus for the summer was to lay the groundwork for a project that would help streamline the "Related Items" section on Lowes.com to increase traffic as well as boost sales as a whole. I wanted to make sure that if a customer were to buy a GE Appliance online, then they would also be directly shown the optional GE accessories and parts that could be added. As is, competitive items as well as competitive appliances are shown as being related, so I was working to rid of that threat to stop the money from going elsewhere.I also compiled weekly pricing sheets based around online prices, created the weekly staff meeting charts, and updated the forecasting sheets for a selection of appliances. I had the opportunity to shadow both an Area Sales Manager and also a Direct Sales employee where I learned a lot of useful information that can be used in the future whether at GE Appliances or elsewhere.

Participated in a 12 week sales management intern with Enterprise Rent-A-Car in the busiest home-city branch in the state of Kentucky. During the 12 weeks I learned many skills including how to deal with the general public, office lifestyle, and selling a product, within a business to consumer company, up to and exceeding standards.By the end of the 12 weeks, I was ranked #3 in sales numbers and also was voted the 3rd most outstanding intern in the state of Kentucky and Southern Indiana.
