I work closely with commissioning, marketing, programming and scheduling teams, influencing their decision-making through contextualising data into tangible insights so they can understand our audiences.My responsibilities include:- Present and share with the commissioning and acquisitions teams on a monthly basis, as well as creating weekly, monthly and annual reports for channels 5Spike (now Paramount) and 5SELECT, and also Channel 5 News and Soaps- Producing the weekly Terrestrial and Digital Competitor Highlights, analysing every new programme airing in the upcoming week and comparing audience performance to channel slot average, previous series, etc.- Designing, scripting and charting viewer surveys for our flagship programmes- Maintaining the Channel 5 monthly report with accurate audience data- Distributing the daily Overnights data across the entire company, and sharing a daily Profiles document breaking down the demographic split of last night’s audience- Generating detailed End-of-Series reports for our shows, with thorough commentary on the performance across a show’s run- Responding to ad-hoc urgent requests from schedulers and commissioners - Attending audience focus groupsI use TechEdge on a daily basis and am highly proficient in Microsoft Excel (including coding macros), PowerPoint and Word. This role is customer-facing, primarily business-to-business, involving having personal management of over 350 existing accounts (maintaining their services and up-selling where possible) while also generating new business leads of my own. I host meetings as well as product demonstrations with new and existing clients, and exercise a detailed and thorough sales procedure to ensure I provide each and every customer with the best, most-effective telecommunications solution for their business.

As a Music Content Editor for Quantone, my role was to dissect music journalism articles and create question and answer documents to build a music recommendation platform through teaching IBM’s Watson software. My role required proficient technical ability, as well as a good ability to write and proofread in great detail.
