Experienced commercial real estate lender / originator with over 10 years of experience originating, structuring and closing commercial real estate bridge loans and conventional loans, including construction financing. Over 20 years of diverse experience in institutional real estate finance / investment, debt / equity underwriting, acquisitions, asset management, project management and capital markets. Solid foundation in engineering design and construction.I currently serve as Vice President, Commercial Real Estate Loan Officer at Bankwell, a $2 Bn publicly traded regional bank based in Fairfield County, CT, where I originate commercial real estate loans within the Tri-State NY/NJ/CT area. Prior to Bankwell, I served as a Director at Edgewood Capital Advisors, a private real estate bridge lender, originating high-yield bridge loans nationwide and acquiring distressed non-performing loan and loan portfolios in the northeast. Prior to Edgewood, I held senior positions in commercial real estate finance, investment and management at institutional financial firms (AIG, Citigroup) and a private real estate developer focused on opportunistic real estate investments in the northeast. I began my career in mechanical engineering design and construction project management. I hold a BS in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from Cornell University and an MS in Real Estate from Columbia University. I hold real estate brokerage licenses in both NY and CT.
