An Electrical Engineer with a passion for pushing boundaries and for embodying the entrepreneurial mindset. My first IOT based company was founded during my freshman year at Rice University and was funded through a series of pitch events and competitions. This company failed. This deep dive into running both the technology and business sides of a startup proved invaluable and eventually led me to found two more companies before graduation. KickedOC which also failed, and IOT Labs (https://iotlabs.mx) which hasn’t.Right before I was set to graduate my lined up job was deferred and eventually rescinded, so I immediately pivoted and jumped back into the IOT projects I saw most potential in for my long term plan and launched Virocide LLC (https://virocide.org). Virocide LLC has since grossed over $1 mm in revenue in its first months of operations and IOT Labs was partially acquired by IQSTEL.As an aficionado for Machine Learning and IOT technologies I’ve been a part of teams that built everything from completely autonomous robots to be used in the healthcare field, to algorithms that analyzed the brain wave patterns of epileptic patients to map out the warning signs for their attacks.For personal projects my claims to fame are a remote control motorized couch I built with friends as our main form of transportation, and an injectable RFID microchip I have in my hand that I use to control my tech bubble around me.I try to be as open as I can about both my failures and successes in businesses and projects, feel free to connect if you want to learn about either one!
