About Jonathan Burns

My purpose is to help build and protect Australia to enhance the prosperity, security and safety of all Australians. I do this by providing strategic, commercial and financial advice on major infrastructure projects and complex service procurements. I am passionate about helping Government deliver infrastructure and services more efficiently. I work with my clients to enhance competition throughout the procurement lifecycle. I develop commercial mechanisms that hold the provider accountable for meeting government’s requirements and that deliver government and the Australian public value for money. I am fortunate to work on nation building projects that can really make a difference, many of which are integral to Australia’s national security. Some highlights include helping: • the NSW Government procure the New Grafton Correctional Centre; • the Department of Home Affairs on a variety of major procurement processes to protect our border; • the Federal Government assess its investment in major nation building infrastructure projects; and• the Department of Defence procure on base living-in accommodation for members of the Australian Defence Force.
