At the DfE I'm working to support the software engineering community. Some of things I'm implementing:- DDaT Pay Framework, to improve recruitment and retention in the department of DDaT professionals- experiments into virtual environments such as GitHub Codespaces to investigate whether there's a strategic case for moving away from high-powered, expensive.

In this role, I lead a small multi-disciplinary team to write a well-structured, effective business case. The case was for a cross-government service, and so over the course of six weeks I immersed myself in the service and understood its end-to-end value chain.
