I am a motivated professional with a strong coding and programming background. My aim is to secure a position in the tech industry that uses some of my skills in: Java, VBA, SQL, and other coding languages. After securing a BA degree in Computer Science from the University of North Carolina Greensboro, I worked in the media industry in on-air television production. In this fast-paced role, I learned how to solve problems on the spot and learn complex systems quickly. My passion in tech is manipulating data to draw actionable conclusions. In addition to data analysis, I love to use coding and programing because it gives you the tools to solve previously unsolvable problems, thus making positive impacts on businesses and communities. I am interested in exploring roles as a data analyst, software engineer, software programmer, software developer, and other entry- to mid-level tech roles. In a prior role, I was doing data analysis of lab test and environmental tests to maintain strict sanitation standards. For this reason, I would be interested in doing data or programming work in the healthcare sector to build on the knowledge that I already have. The gaming sector also fascinates me. Throughout high school and college, I was the manager of a team of e-sport competitors who competed to win scholarship money. I networked with sponsors and created an infrastructure for the competitions. The program still exists and is thriving.
