Having started my career in the world of Product Design I quickly began to realise that whilst I had a passion for creative solutions and excellent design, I also had a strong interest in improving the efficiency of the businesses in which I worked. This interest led to me pursuing opportunities to manage operational issues from 2010 onwards - leading to my current role and the completion of my CIMA qualifications. I now work with senior business stakeholders to develop strategies for their teams - providing the analysis and management accountant mind-set required to hone these. From here I am well placed to work with them in the development of tactical plans to deliver their ambition - pulling in pertinent contributors from around the business as necessary to support. These tactical plans normally cover both the hygiene factors that improve margin as well as supporting top-line growth - which is where my passion lies.
