Provide SME support, policy analysis, and workshop facilitation for the CHDS Executive Education Program (EEP). The EEP provides seminars, workshops, and other learning opportunities for public safety leaders, elected officials, and key stakeholders in the homeland security enterprise.

I serve in the National Disaster Medical System (NDMS) as team Communications Officer (Logistics Management Specialist / GS-346-12) for the AL-1 Disaster Medical Assistance Team (DMAT). My duties include information technology (IT) and communications systems as well as all aspects of logistics pertaining to operation and sustainment of disaster field medical clinics. - Supported numerous disaster medical drills, training and exercises around the nation in partnership with federal, state, and local responders (emergency managers, U.S. Dept. of Veterans Affairs, DoD/USAF, DHS/FEMA, etc.)- Operational deployments for Hurricane Sandy, Hurricane Harvey, Hurricane Irma, and Hurricane Maria.- Developed training materials and served as an instructor for public health personnel, clinicians, and other emergency responders on advanced emergency communications equipment (such as LMR, satellite communications, and network administration) as well as HHS's Disaster Medical Information Suite (DMIS), Electronic Medical Records (EMR), and Joint Patient Assessment and Tracking System (JPATS).- Led and supported a variety of functions to provide wraparound logistical support (including IT and communications, emergency power systems, base of operations management, and supply chain) for deployed disaster medical personnel providing patient care to survivors in affected areas, teams augmenting evacuation shelters, and augmentation to primary care facilities affected by disasters.
