The two important leadership skills that I’ve mastered in my 7 years in the Navy: efficient decision-making and strong team management skills. I’m looking for a position where I can apply those skills and experience in the private sector.With over 1000 hours commanding two types of Navy helicopters through various missions, I have learned to make quick results-oriented decisions. From delivering goods and ordnance between ships in the Pacific Ocean or inserting special operation forces for training exercises, I constantly revaluate my aircraft’s ability to complete the given goal and the safety of my aircraft and crew. As a professional who is experienced in team management, I have learned how to manage teams professionally and organize resources efficiently. On two deployments and now at home in the training command, I organize up to 82 pilots, their special qualifications and 16 aircraft to ensure they meet our mission safely and effectively.Currently, I teach flight students in our helicopter flight school program in order to develop them into Naval Aviators.
