The two important leadership skills that I’ve mastered in my 7 years in the Navy: efficient decision-making and strong team management skills. I’m looking for a position where I can apply those skills and experience in the private sector.With over 1000 hours commanding two types of Navy helicopters through various missions, I have learned to make quick results-oriented decisions. From delivering goods and ordnance between ships in the Pacific Ocean or inserting special operation forces for training exercises, I constantly revaluate my aircraft’s ability to complete the given goal and the safety of my aircraft and crew. As a professional who is experienced in team management, I have learned how to manage teams professionally and organize resources efficiently. On two deployments and now at home in the training command, I organize up to 82 pilots, their special qualifications and 16 aircraft to ensure they meet our mission safely and effectively.Currently, I teach flight students in our helicopter flight school program in order to develop them into Naval Aviators. Having flown with small crews and planned exercises that involved multiple services and international militaries, I have developed extensive leadership and team-building skills that help me connect with fellow peers and Sailors to create an effective force to achieve our goals.Contact me if you need someone who will be result-oriented, team-oriented, and committed your organization.
