Hi there! I am a data scientist who loves to transform data into strategic decisions.I was a full stack data analyst for a nation-wide flagship program helping disadvantaged students, where I revamped the program's evaluation methodology, overhauled the key metrics required to assess our program's health, and conducted statistical tests. I also forecasted resourcing requirements as the program scaled up nation-wide, and built dashboards and communicated insights to senior leadership to drive good decision making. Despite the impact I was making, I craved the thrill of utilizing machine learning and more advanced statistical methods in my work. This desire to deepen my technical expertise led me to enroll in UC Berkeley’s Master of Information and Data Science program. I also moved back to the U.S.Data science captivates me because it merges so many of my interests. I love the technical side of programming and machine learning, the creative process of statistical modeling, and the art of data visualization and communication, which I loved as a teacher. I want to join a company whose mission I believe in, and leverage my enhanced skills to drive impact.
