With 14 years of experience as a researcher, I have developed a diverse skill set while conducting multidisciplinary research in marine ecology, physiology and conservation. I am proficient in multivariate statistics, Python, R, Matlab and SQL programming languages. I develop custom algorithms and use quantitative models to answer targeted questions concerning research objectives. I have authored 16 peer-reviewed publications, spoken at multiple scientific meetings, was scientific adviser for K-12 curriculum development, a team leader, and mentor. I strive to continually broaden and improve upon my ability to find solutions to complex problems that will accelerate the successful completion of project goals.Although my career in academia has been rewarding, I am open to transitioning to a business or non-profit setting where my skill set is used to guide and enhance the decision making process.
