As one of the Co-Directors of Talking Dog Agency, I served as the liaison between UGA faculty and staff members as a whole. I met with the Grady College Board of Trust, the Dean, department heads, and notable alumni, as well as choose, oversaw, and directly managed the Talking Dog Agency Board of Directors. My other responsibilities included working closely with Board of Directors to recruit clients and staff members, creating meeting agendas for and lead weekly board meetings, and determining the flow of information and work throughout the agency. Additionally, I worked with my fellow Co-Directors to create the agency schedule and determine topics for all meetings, present slide deck at the beginning of meetings, and review all materials to ensure quality and that they are an accurate reflection of agency values. Collectively, the Co-Directors worked very closely with our Professional Advisor to offer a final decision on all internal and external matters.

I had the honor of serving on the 2022-2023 Board of Directors for Talking Dog Agency at The University of Georgia. My role as Director of Member Relations and Recruitment focused on the recruitment of new and returning staff members at the beginning of the school year. As a part of that, I was in charge of coordinating visits to classes and clubs to recruit members and answer questions, leading the creation applications for new and returning applicants, and helping to carry out interviews of the interested candidates. Additionally, my role involved overseeing agency culture and maintaining a positive atmosphere by facilitating camaraderie between members, planning socials and themed agency meetings, keeping up with attendance, and maintaining close relationships with staff members.

I worked as an Account Executive for the Talking Dog Agency. My role involved organizing and establishing communications and client expectations as the liaison between the client and our Talking Dog team. I coordinated, set up, and led meetings with both the agency team and the client contact. I also debriefed client materials to my team and ensured agency work was in line with the client's expectations.

I worked at Marbury Creative Group as an Account Service Intern. During this time I was filling in for an Account Manager who was out on maternity leave. While she was out, I served as the main point of contact for her clients, leading client calls, updating status documents, assigning and approving tasks, and sharing work with clients. It was my responsibility to work collaboratively with the rest of the agency in order to keep work moving in her absence and to create an easy transition upon her return.

I worked as a Social Media Marketing Intern for TGC Radio, a streaming radio station of classic hits based out of Athens, Georgia. In this role, I created owned social content for both Facebook and Instagram accounts. My responsibilities included brainstorming content ideas, designing post graphics, writing copy for captions, and scheduling posts.

I worked as a Social Media Marketing Intern for HIBO, an Athens-based hibiscus superdrink company. As the first member of their internal marketing team, I helped to develop marketing strategies and content pillars for their social media platforms. On a weekly basis, I created and posted content for Instagram and TikTok handles, as well as worked on increasing engagement and reach on those platforms. In my time with HIBO, we were able to grow the Instagram following by over 100% and consistently increase our views and engagement. I also attended events to promote and sell the product, as well as captured content for social media and marketing materials.

I worked as a Site Manager for the Competative Sports program at the University of Georgia. I started out as an Intramural Sports Official in the spring of 2021, and I was promoted to a Site Manager over the following summer. As a Site Manager, I managed and supervised sites for club sports practices, club events, and intramural sports programming. I also followed and enforced risk management procedures to ensure the safety of participants.

Remote

I worked as a remote Social Media Intern for Belly Up Sports, a start-up sports media outlet. This position was fully remote, logging my own hours each week. As an intern, I ran their baseball accounts on both Instagram and Twitter with the goals of creating engaging content and growing their following. Over the course of my internship, I increased the following on the Instagram account by over 15%.
