San Diego, California

At Turning Point, I led a team of 30+ ministry-focused fundraising professionals who are tasked with engaging donors by telling the story of what God is doing in and through Turning Point; casting vision for the future as laid out by Founder & CEO Dr. David Jeremiah and President of Turning Point, David Michael Jeremiah. My focus as Director of Development Communications was on fostering meaningful relationships by keeping donors engaged as active participants in the mission of delivering the unchanging Word of God to an ever-changing world.

Taught by David Platt, Secret Church is an online event where tens of thousands of people gather to study the bible and pray for the persecuted church and places in the world with little-to-no access to the gospel. Secret Church participants join from 50 American states and dozens of countries from around the world. It has been my pleasure to write, produce, and direct the promotional video content and major media pieces for many of these events. I also served in a Production Director's role for several Secret Church events.

Mississippi

At Pinelake, I worked with a team of dynamic leaders to mobilize church members towards mission opportunities in Mississippi and around the world. This included teaching, training, and sending short, mid, and long-term missionaries to support ministry on five continents. As the Partnerships Pastor, I was responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive missionary care strategy, as well as a strategic partnership plan. I was solely tasked with forging and maintaining strong relationships with our partners. As we developed projects with our partners, I manage the communication, schedule, and budgets, and some logistics required to execute a successful project.

As a freelance consultant, I work closely with non-profit and faith-based organizations in developing communications strategies, and creating content that supports their brand and mission. My primary role with these clients consist of developing creative concepts, writing proposals and budgets, hiring subcontractors and specialists, and project managing so that the end product is delivered on time and within budget. Some of my clients include Radical, Secret Church, Lifeline Children's Services, Servant Life, International Mission Board, Student Life, Compassion International, Lifeway, Tyndale Publishers, Thomas Nelson, Zondervan , and more. I have helped a number of clients develop, brand, and launch podcasts, and in 2014/15 I served as the producer and host of David Platt’s teaching podcast, Radical Together.

Birmingham, Alabama Area

At Brook Hills, I served on the Communications and Creative Arts team. I was responsible for writing, shooting, directing, and editing over 30 story-based media pieces every year. I was responsible for managing the media budget and calendar. I managed the production schedule, and hired and managed media subcontractors when needed. I was also responsible for producing content for the global disciple-making team. I program directed three weekly worship gatherings, and led the live video production team. My responsibilities included recruiting, training and managing production volunteers on a weekly basis. I managed the volunteer calendar and scheduled crews based on the needs of the church. I produced the weekly sermon podcast, as well as other regularly scheduled audio and video teaching resources from Brook Hills Pastoral Staff Team. I developed graphics and other media for weekly worship gatherings, and helped every ministry at Brook Hills with their media and communications needs. As the Media Coordinator, my role was to resource those ministries in developing media pieces that reinforced the vision, mission and values of the church.

Birmingham, Alabama Area

My position at Student Life afforded me the opportunity to spearhead all video elements for Student Life curriculum and events. This entailed project management, and serving as a producer and director for film crews of varying sizes. I was tasked with booking actors and other talent, as well as writing, shooting, directing and editing creative media pieces, and implementing marketing strategies. I also worked with the Creative Director to produce promotional video content for Student Life Events.

During my time at Turning Point I served under the Creative Director as a producer, director, and editor for television and web. In my time at Turning Point, I wrote scripts, served as a Producer and Director for video shoots of varying sizes. I led and managed film crews, and was an assistant director on some of the largest sets in Turning Point history. As a Producer, I managed budgets and production calendars, and I hired and managed subcontractors when we used outside crews for out video shoots. My role included developing and producing marketing and communications strategies for Turning Point television while maintaining gospel integrity. I also served as the liaison between the production and creative departments, and I was recruited to support donor development staff in building strategic partnerships with compelling story-based content.

Santa Barbara, California Area

In this position, I primarily worked with the Traffic Solutions division to develop creative commute solutions for individuals and employers in Santa Barbara County. I used a wide range of skills including Spanish translation, writing, design, and media production. Part of my duties also included media relations and public information. In addition, I managed all customer service operations for the products we offered at Traffic Solutions.
