In my current role, I manage a team that touches over 500 events annually for our organization. We work with our internal business development team to provide an exceptional sales and brand experience. We partner with multiple vendors to produce world-class event experiences. These events range from large global conferences to small vendor fairs.

I was responsible for emerging new media and channels for this global organization operating in 100 countries. Key areas of emphasis are strategic, marketing, branding and development of social media channels. During my time as Internal Communications Manager I helped launch and co-host one of the first recognized internal company podcasts as noted by Shel Holtz http://www.forimmediaterelease.biz/index.php/weblog/comments/interview_jonathan_mast_and_aidan_hagood_october_24_2005/. The show ran weekly for three years.Worked directly with the CEO and COO to develop strategic content for annual leadership meetings.Served as part of a project management team that launched Sharepoint 2003 with Mysites to over 3,000 employees.Delivered core values training to 2,000 newly acquired colleagues following acquisition.Managed launch of company .com site. Surpverised Webmaster and Portal Manager.

Served as client liason with information technology team external clients. Primary role was working with endangered clients. I worked with clients to understand why they felt their project implementation needs had not been met. I then worked with our technology implementation team to bridge the technology gap.Clients were Fortune 500 clients and focused on their risk management operations.

Responsible for coordinating marketing efforts to include collateral material, direct marketing, seminar marketing and sales lead development.This group was a subsidiary of Cable Systems International. Selected to be part of team formed to sell consulting services in the risk insurance field.

Conducted training for management and union personnel for the world’s largest manufacturer of copper wire and cable.

I worked as a client liaison to our systems engineering team. This required making sure client expectations were accurately implemented. Required building relationships across all levels at the client.
