After eight years with the US Army working in a number of diverse roles both global and domestic, I chose a career in education to bring my teaching, leadership, and multi-cultural expertise into the lives of America’s future leaders. A firm believer in public education, I am committed to providing all students with a high level of academic and career readiness in preparation for the opportunities and challenges they will face after graduation. I am well versed in curriculum development and implementation utilizing best practices, as well as how to build a collaborative environment to support maximum student performance. I have a strong interest in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) Education. I have over 20 years of experience as a middle and high school science and mathematics teacher.
